Parliament and Montague
The Silva Care Homes consist of two buildings on the corner of Montague Street and Parliament Street in Regina, SK. The home facing Montague Street has been nicknamed Montague while the home closest to Parliament Street has been designated Parliament. Each building contains a spacious entrance way, kitchen, common living room, common dining room, two resident bathrooms, a visitor’s bathroom and seven large private bedrooms. Connecting the two homes from the back is an attractive backyard complete with a large garden. In the front of each of the homes is a spacious lawn space and two walk-ways.
Our Services
Silva Care is equipped to manage most Level 1, 2 and 3 care cases and is primarily a light-care facility. A resident may stay with us until two people are required to assist them with personal care or it is no longer safe to stay. Silva Care attempts to increase our resident's mobility by providing regular activities and allowing them to feel of accomplishment through independence. We provide services for our residents such as dressing, washing, cleaning, cooking and doing laundry. Our staff also supervise the administering of medication, communicate with doctors and pharmacies if a problem occurs and provide various medical assistance. Caregivers are available and awake 24/7 with one staff member available for 7 residents. In addition to the required training, our staff receive additional training as they become more familiar with our care home. We work hard to always improve and enhance our knowledge and abilities to meet our resident needs.

The Rooms
Our resident rooms at Silva Care Home are comfortable, clean and tended to regularly by staff. Each room is furnished with a bed, clean mattress, closet, dresser, chair, window blinds, waste basket and a mirror. Residents are encouraged to bring personal items such as picture frames, photo albums or embroidery in order to make them feel more at home.
Pricing
